Business Description

We are a non-profit fine art gallery located near the coalfields of central Appalachian. Holler Gallery, which was formerly the Virginia Bank of Commerce, opened in 1917 as a professional art gallery. The goal is to promote emerging artists in a professional setting 100 years later, after several businesses have come and gone the Holler Gallery was established. Holler was created in 2017 by Chase Bowman, a fellow artist. It is a venue that showcases fine Appalachian Art. Since 2020, Director Richard Shrewsbury tries to maintain the established aesthetic while expanding our focus of education & community participation.
